About this project

This website was the product of a semester-long project focused on recreation on private forest land in Maine. The project was initiated by Dr. Jessica Leahy, Assistant Professor of Parks, Recreation and Tourism in the School of Forest Resources at the University of Maine in the fall of 2006. Graduate students Jeremy Greenwood and Shavonne Sargent researched the topics, interviewed landowners and created this website.
