The University Recreation Club
The University Recreation Club is a social club and service organization created by the students of the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism program (PRT) and open to all interested undergraduate and graduate students. Past activities include camping, hiking and skiing trips, as well as maintaining trails for the Maine Audubon Society, recommending a recreation plan for the Stillwater River, and hosting campus speakers. Many TURC members are also active in the National Recreation and Park Association.
